Agenda
- Digital Asset Disruption – Solving the Visibility Problem Amid a Rapidly Evolving IT Landscape(Plenary) What we consider a digital asset has changed dramatically over the last 5 years, and the emergence of new asset classes has made managing them even more challenging. IT Leaders must leverage technology that enables complete visibility of their complex IT environment. Please join Snow to learn three essential ways to support business growth using technology intelligence: Visibility – achieve a holistic view of data, applications, and spend across the on-premises data centre, cloud, and SaaS environments Optimisation – leverage intelligent insights and recommendations about your data to optimise both spend and drive operational efficiencies Governance – manage security risk and compliance without affecting business performance
- ** Special Guest **(Plenary) Sit-Down brings you one of Australia's sporting legends, to share with you all about the challenges and success she has faced all with in the public eyes!
- Keynote: Innovating Innovation(Plenary) Innovation is often misunderstood, taken for granted and much less capitalised on. Gone are the days when it was an advantage. Now we face an era where it’s the necessity to your existence as a business. But of course we all know that….. When we look at the amount of digital transformation projects worldwide, every year businesses spend $1.3 trillion on digital transformation programs to improve efficiency and yet they hit a failure rate by up to 90% resulting in lack of efficacy in operations and ultimately a hard stop to further innovating. This result paints to innovation as a risky undertaking, how do we innovate this perception. How do we drive Innovation strategically, turn it from a risky undertaking to being a catalyst that drives incremental and breakthrough value value that keeps the business relevant and protects the business from disruption. Join us for this session as Finbar takes us through a journey of changing that mindset and understanding how we set out for success within our tech teams as CIOs and CDO and how we communicate the value to the board and other executives.
- Tomato or Tomatoes: Exploring the Importance of Questioning Your Data(Plenary) More than ever board members and business leaders are looking for ways to maintain an even focus on maintaining security and performance of their operations while also innovating to create that new edge. Did you know the data you already own holds the key to doing both those things? It all comes down to what questions you ask it. This session will explore this and why more than ever having the right data strategy is so important. Is it Tomato or Tomatoes, come along and find out

Change and culture management and bringing up our readiness on every level. Join us for this session as we take look at how we prepare from culture and change management aspect before implementation in ambiguous environments.
- Attracting and Retaining IT Talent in the New World(Plenary) In terms of digital transformation risks, two years ago, it was mainly about implementation of new technology and change management, allowing IT to boost productivity and create flexible workplaces. Rather, today’s debate focuses more on how to optimise outcomes and deliver organisational value from a change that has already taken place. In the current environment, where expectations for a great UX are high, innovation is accelerating in speed, and the industry is battling with shortage of skilled staff, rising wages, and the potential of a ‘great resignation', this topic is of high importance to Tech Executives.

Many organisations have proven that when managing data effectively, they can transform software delivery and meet their compliance obligations. - Keynote: From Singer to CIO - The Tail of Two Worlds and a Pragmatic Approach to Thriving in Times of Change(Plenary) We could all agree that the least we learnt from the past 2 years was the realisation around how we respond to change, as individuals, as teams, as leaders. Some thrived and some not so much, some went onto to build winning teams, deliver on major projects and lead multi-disciplinary teams and the others had to sit down and take a minute. But what is it that made some of us soar, and the others barely manage. Why is it that some leaders see change as a moment of opportunity and naturally thrive and the rest battle their way through it hardly standing? Is it mindset? Is there a system? How can we change that? During this session we get together with Mary-Beth Hosking as she takes us through a journey of drastic change & transformation and unwrap what it takes for leaders to not just survive but thrive during periods of uncertainty and the role people play as the centrepiece of every journey.
- Fostering Innovation and New Opportunities with SAP(Plenary) Organisations at all levels are under enormous pressure to deliver and improve current services, whilst also flexing to adapt in response to an increasingly dynamic world: COVID, business confidence, geopolitical changes, supply chain disruptions are merely a sample of the many unpredictable dimensions which the modern enterprise must contend with. It’s ’s time to think and act differently… In response to these challenges and to meet the changing nature of an increasingly complex IT and commercial landscape, businesses are looking for innovation from start-ups and entrepreneurs to challenge the status quo. We experience the same pressures at SAP and understand that to solve today’s business challenges we need to combine the best of both worlds - leveraging start-ups to foster an innovation-driven culture both internally and externally and partnering with our customers to develop new capabilities and solutions that drive organisational change and sustainable outcomes. Join this session to learn how SAP is embracing innovation through a shift in mindset and a focus on learning to address the changing needs of customers and an evolving workforce.
- Afternoon Tea Break & Networking(Plenary)
- Evolve Speaker- Minimising The Four Culture Killers(Plenary) 'Culture' is one component of Mark Carter's 5C MODE. For our session we are focussing on one specific aspect: as much as identifying, honing and implementing tools and strategies that allow a culture to thrive, it's equally important to understand the polarity! What are the common enemies at the gates that sometimes make a culture break! In this punchy development session Mark will share one aspect from ideas frequently weaved into his Culture keynotes and programs. Four common culture killers Initial ideas to minimise (even eliminate) the culture killers impact The biggest dirty little secret in business and why it's imperative you consciously strive to put it into action!
- Keynote: Ethical and Actionable Data Strategy to Deliver Real Business Value(Plenary) With a mission to become truly data driven, companies make significant investment in establishing data analytics capabilities but many fail to realise the full potential due to poorly executed roadmap underpinned by ineffective data strategy. This talk will explore some of the common pitfalls and how to overcome them.
- Evolve Speaker: The Loudest Guest - How to Change and Control Your Relationship With Fear(Plenary) Dr Amy will help you to change and control your relationship with fear. Are you prone to worrying, being hesitant or overly concerned with something Desire to do something new but worry that you couldn't or shouldn't, or that you would fail Talk yourself down either out loud or in your head Feel that there must be more to do or feel, but you seem to get in your own way Are too "in your head" - full of doubt, regret or indecision Spend too much time thinking about what people think of you Want to explore how much fear is controlling your choices in life. Would like to say more about what you are feeling to create deeper trust or connection.

Dan Giesen-White · Chief Information Officer (CIO), Carlisle Homes Accustomed to complex multi-site businesses I love the problems others run from! I suppose you could say I’m a transformational leader – used to driving and embedding change in enterprises - aligning ITC strategy, governance, architectures, people and processes in businesses that are forever merging, growing and developing new streams. I enjoy being at the pointy end of strategy in driving the vision and agitating for improved innovation, harnessing technologies and delivering value-added services, foreseeing design challenges and scale bottlenecks, managing big budgets and resources that are partly in-house/with external third parties, on/offshore. A collaborator who is comfortable negotiating, influencing and leading large teams, I’m interested in the experiential aspects of the company’s customer journeys and am a firm believer in the value of big data and measurement. I think we all need to be looking at how we can increase speed and quality via business intelligence because macro and micro information trends are moving quickly.
