Discussion points: Giving employees secure AI assistants with trusted, real-time access to enterprise knowledge. Improving decision-making without increasing security or governance risk. Breaking down knowledge silos and creating more connected workflows. Embedding permissions, governance, lineage and auditability from day one.
- Peer-Driven Debates(Factor Day) A: Platform Standardisation vs Best-of-Breed Technology Should enterprises consolidate around fewer strategic platforms, or maintain flexibility through best-of-breed solutions? Discussion Points: At what point does platform sprawl become a barrier to transformation? Does standardisation reduce complexity or limit innovation and competitive differentiation? How should leaders evaluate trade-offs between vendor consolidation, cost, and capability? B: AI-Native Transformation vs Incremental Modernisation Should organisations fundamentally redesign operations around AI, or focus on augmenting existing processes? Discussion Points: When does AI justify rethinking operating models rather than automating existing workflows? How do leaders balance business disruption against long-term competitive advantage? Is incremental change sufficient in a market where AI capabilities are advancing rapidly? C: Technology Efficiency vs Technology Growth Should technology leaders prioritise optimisation and cost discipline, or continue investing aggressively in innovation and capability expansion? Discussion Points: How should CIOs demonstrate value beyond cost reduction? When do efficiency programs create future technical debt or capability gaps? What distinguishes strategic investment from technology spending for its own sake? D: Data Sovereignty vs Global Data Strategy Should organisations prioritise local data residency and sovereignty requirements, or optimise for globally integrated data ecosystems? Discussion Points: How are evolving regulatory expectations influencing enterprise data architecture? When does sovereignty become a competitive advantage versus an operational constraint? Can organisations achieve both global intelligence and local compliance at scale? E: Data Quality First vs AI First Should organisations focus on fixing data foundations before scaling AI, or use AI initiatives to accelerate data maturity? Discussion Points: Is poor data quality still the biggest barrier to AI success? Can AI create business value even when data foundations are imperfect? How should executives sequence investments between data governance, engineering, and AI capabilities? F: Cyber Resilience vs Cyber Prevention Should security strategies focus primarily on preventing attacks, or assume breaches are inevitable and prioritise resilience? Discussion Points: How should organisations measure success in a world where perfect prevention is unrealistic? Where should security budgets be allocated between protection, detection, response, and recovery? Does resilience provide a more meaningful business metric than risk reduction? G: Zero Trust vs Frictionless Digital Experience How much operational friction should organisations accept in pursuit of stronger security? Discussion Points: When do security controls begin to undermine productivity and innovation? How can security leaders improve protection without creating user resistance? Is the future of security invisible by design, or will stronger controls inevitably introduce friction?
- Scaling AI Capabilities for Enterprise Impact(Factor Day) As organisations move beyond AI experimentation, the challenge is no longer simply identifying use cases, but creating the foundations and operating models required to scale them across the enterprise. Drawing on Keppel’s experience, Amit Jain will explore what organisations need to get right across data and AI architecture, process redesign, leadership and organisational capability, and how a human-in-the-loop approach can support the next phase of AI adoption.
