Extensive experience in developed & emerging markets, covering embryonic as well as blue chip organizations - Citibank Singapore, Merrill Lynch USA, International Stock Exchange Switzerland, Tata Consultancy Group India, TechcomBank Vietnam and Temasek Holdings Singapore’s Bank Danamon Indonesia. Currently serving as CIO and a Member of Board Of Executive Management at PT Finance, BRG Group Vietnam.
Saravanan Krishnan · Sales Director and General Manager, Data Protection Solutions Division, Dell EMC Southeast Asia, Dell Technologies Sara is the Sales Director and General Manager of Data Protection Solutions (DPS) in South East Asia (SEA). He is responsible for leading a team of specialty sales to help customers with their data risk management, security and compliance challenges. Sara is passionate about discussing cutting edge solutions that differentiate Dell EMC from the edge to core to cloud. His vast experience has enabled customers to confidently embrace emerging platforms, with the intent of bringing the best business outcomes. Sara joined EMC from Hitachi Data Systems where he was the Asia-Pacific Business Director for Infrastructure Solutions. He played a pivotal role in leading his team focused on the Software-defined Infrastructure and Business Continuity Solutions. Prior to HDS, Sara worked for HP Software Consulting where he was instrumental in driving sales engagements through his APJ team to exceed revenue and margin goals, introduce innovative service offerings, and uphold customer satisfaction. Before joining HP, Sara was in Sun Microsystems where he successfully led the Asia South Storage solutions team. Sara joined Sun through the StorageTek acquisition, where he oversaw Presales and Business Development for emerging technologies. With more than 20 years of IT experience in companies including IBM and CSC, Sara has held diverse functional positions in delivery, consulting, sales and business development. Apart from his professional duties, Sara was the former Chairman of the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) for South Asia. He currently serves in the Data Protection Committee and Cyber Security Chapter of SGTech to help influence and shape the cyber defense needs of nation states. Sara is also very active in social work, both as a corporate citizen and in his personal capacity.
