- Navigating the Tech Frontier: Peer Problems, Performance, Plans and Preparation for Productivity!(CIO) Join us for our first keynote of the day by our very own Sit-Down's Vice President and Head of Research, Craig Baty, as he share his insights into Sit-Down’s research on current trends and plans for Digital Transformation/enablement and related technology initiatives …through the eyes of the people who manage, deliver and purchase these technologies – Singaporean Technology Decision Makers (TDMs). The technology and services available to meet mission critical enterprise-wide needs of organisations are changing dramatically as are the delivery and commercial models, and new challenges arise daily. To shed light on these challenges and future directions, Sit-Down is proud to deliver a snapshot of our findings from a highly rigorous survey of 245 Singaporean TDMs, representing billions of dollars of revenue, across all major verticals. Craig is a well know industry advisor and speaker and is on the council of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) and Vice Chair of the Australian Computer Society (ACS) in NSW. He is also an active member of SgTech in Singapore.

Currently, he is the country manager for Singapore at Red Hat, where he leads sales and business development activities in the country. Over the years, Guna has been extensively involved in the implementation of complex analytics solutions such as supply chain, customer experience and risk management across the world in various industries ranging from financial services, government, manufacturing and retail. Prior to joining Red Hat, Guna was the General Manager for Cloud & Cognitive Solutions at IBM Singapore. He also held leadership positions at JDA Software and Oracle. Guna graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Honors).
