In my role as Director of Data & Analytics at Auckland District Health Board I lead a passionate team of data people who work with staff across all ADHB directorates. Our team, residing within the Health Information Technology (HIT) directorate, provides a range of services and products to clinical and operational customers at various levels. Examples of products and services delivered include real-time operational insights such as bed capacity, staffing and theatre utilisation, clinical information, compliance reporting, contract & volume reporting, costing of elective services (over $1.5b a year) and IMT support (e.g., COVID response, vaccination rollout).
