David Frost · CFO, Neami National David W Frost has been both a Chief Financial Officer and a Chief Executive officer, he believes that his financial skills make him a better CEO and his CEO skills make him a better Chief Financial Officer as he understand the day to day demands of all the members of the executive team. David commenced his professional career with BDO Binder Hamlyn in the UK where he qualified as a chartered accountant. He then joined Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC) in Melbourne in the late 80’s. After several years David returned to the UK and worked for Rolls-Royce Industrial Power Group (UK) in Internal Audit and then for two of their power generation subsidiaries as Financial Controller. This work involved projects in the UK, South Africa, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. He returned to Melbourne in 1996 and joined Rigby Cooke Lawyers (RCL) in a finance and administration role before becoming General Manager and subsequently the Executive Director (CEO). David was responsible for all day-to-day operations and through coaching, mergers and lateral hires doubled the fee base. Following RCL, he set up his own consulting company providing consulting and interim executive services to professional service firms. At one client, Manngingham General Practice where he was their subcontracted General Manager (CEO) for several years, he was responsible for maintaining RACGP accreditation and growing patient fees by over 100% via GP recruitment and medical practice mergers. David has worked in Not For Profits, first as the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Services Director of Bayside Medicare Local, then as the Acting Director Corporate Services for the North Western Melbourne PHN. Also as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Finance and Asset Management for Dementia Australia, and recently Interim Chief Financial Officer - Neami National. He is currently a non-executive director of Mental Health Victoria, and chair of the Finance Audit and Risk Management (FARM) committee. He has been a non-executive director of Travellers Aid and chair of their FARM. During most of his executive roles and assignments he has been responsible for day-to-day finance, administration, operations, asset management and ICT, and has worked with, and implemented, a variety of quality accreditation and ICT systems. David has completed a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Economics and Accounting, he is a Fellow of CAANZ and ICAEW, a GAICD and a Business Fi
