Marie Kakouridis · Sr. Manager, Customer Experience, Expedia Group Marie Kakouridis is a passionate customer first leader with 10 years of learning in Customer Experience. After managing teams in France, Marie has been leading the Vrbo Customer Experience Team for the Australia and New Zealand markets for the last 4 years. She takes pride in being part of Expedia Group and motivating her teams to do their best to serve customers, whether it be Travellers, Partners or employees. In a year that has been challenging for the travel industry globally, Marie knows how important it is to help customers through some difficult times, and encourage team members to go the extra mile to create a memorable customer experience.
Michael Dart · Executive General Manager - Customer, Energy Queensland Michael Dart was appointed to the Energy Queensland Executive Committee from 1 January 2020. He is responsible for leading customer, community, stakeholder engagement, brand, marketing, media, internal communications, digital communications and investor relations strategies for Energy Queensland. He also has executive responsibility for the largest 24/7 Network Customer Operations centre in Australia, and oversees the market transaction and customer connections functions for the business. He has executive management, stakeholder relations, policy development and communications experience reaching more than 20 years. He has worked for state and local governments and as consultant to the private and public sectors. Michael has spent more than a decade as an Energy Industry leader and is also a Non-Executive Director and Chair of Creative Regions, with Director experience in the government, arts and environmental health fieldsAnna Fawcett · General Manager - Marketing, Brand and Communications, Christchurch NZ Anna Fawcett is ChristchurchNZ’s General Manager of Marketing, Brand and Communications. She leads a team of communication and marketing professionals to curate, promote and market the city’s story. Together with her team, she strives to solidify the brand of both ChristchurchNZ and Christchurch city, ensures stakeholders are well informed, and sells the dream of Ōtautahi Christchurch through marketing campaigns and activity. Anna has worked in strategic and tactical marketing and communications both in New Zealand and internationally. Her belief in customer-focused, data-driven strategies ensures ChristchurchNZ’s efforts are coordinated and cost-efficient and have measurable results. Gemma Alker · Centre Manager, Centre for Future Enterprise, Queensland University of Technology With almost 20 years’ experience in senior leadership roles within universities, ASX listed companies, start-ups, and not-for-profit; I have dedicated the past decade to driving growth strategies in the education sector. Brands I have worked with include PwC, NAB, Cisco, Business Chicks, Telstra, Hewlett-Packard, Bond University, Channel Nine, News Limited, Tourism Queensland, all levels of government, schools across APAC, and Office of Queensland Chief Entrepreneur. Currently I lead the global engagement and partnership strategy for a leading digital innovation research unit within QUT Business School, which is in the top 1% triple AAA rated business schools globally.Nadia Adelstein · Portfolio Manager, Factor A branding & events expert, with 10+ years experience in exponential marketing, Nadia thrives on bringing stories to life through creativity. Working overseas for 12 years on both agency and brand side, she has a unique approach to business strategy.
Brad Meehan · Managing Director, Strativity Brad is the Managing Director of Strativity Group. He has been at the forefront of helping organisations drive customer centric change for over 15 years. He advises leading brands globally and locally on how they can evolve their strategies and adapt their operations to deliver differentiated value and experiences. Brad brings expertise in strategy development, design thinking, operating model alignment, analytics, the psychology of change and large scale transformation programs. Prior to a move into consulting, he held executive roles in customer strategy and transformation in the financial services sector. He gained his MBA with distinction from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2007 and has completed Harvard Business School Leadership Programs in Customer-Centric Strategy, Competitive Strategy and Change. Brad has also lectured in QUT’s MBA program in the fields of strategy and customer experience management and is a sought after speaker both locally and internationally.
