Overview
A good transformation program will not succeed without good data. It is incumbent on chief digital officers to convince the executive and the board to invest in improving data quality. If your data is not up to scratch, your employees and customers will have bad experiences when they interact with your applications and services. Bad data will impact your organisation’s ability to compete in the marketplace and drive your customers away.
Join CDO Sit-Down as we explore:
Why ensuring data is of the highest quality and employing good data management practices helps build trust with customers, better manage risk, and improve the services you provide to customers.
A business-first data governance approach that connects key initiatives and governance capabilities and delivers long-term business value.
Why organisations need to rethink the structure of their data teams, their roles and responsibilities and skillsets that are required.
Assessing what a fit for purpose data strategy looks like and designing the roadmap measurement points that are needed to achieve business objectives.

How to ensure data protection and compliance while effectively mitigating risks and cyber threats?
- Achieving Agile Data Delivery Without Copying and Replicating Data(Plenary 08:30 - 16:30) Establishing clear and effective data governance, and promoting a data-driven culture are top of mind for most CDOs. Providing an environment where the business can make data and analytics-based decisions to drive growth, reduce costs, improve business processes, and drive efficiencies, is critical. The challenge is how can this be achieved when working with siloed operating models where data is distributed across an organization. In this session, we will explore how a logical data strategy can help to solve these challenges and provide benefits including: Minimize data movement and data replication which is time-consuming and expensive. Remove complexity to better manage, secure and govern enterprise data. Deliver faster, more meaningful, and actionable data insights for improved decision-making.
