Agenda
- What's The Big Deal About Data Observability?(Plenary) Due to the ongoing exploding supply of data, enterprises must keep constant watch over their data and the pipelines through which it is ingested, prepared, and otherwise made fit for operational uses. Many enterprises have optimized data ingestion processes but experience issues with data management and data reliability. Data observability enables organizations to continually track, correlate, assess, predict, manage, and optimize the health of their data systems in operation. It is an essential tool for monitoring the metrics—such as data availability, reliability, efficiency, and performance—that businesses apply to ensure data teams meet the increasing demand for real-time data insights, data consumers trust the data they use to make business decisions, and executives ensure data delivery and pipeline performance meet business requirements. This session will cover best practices for using multidimensional data observability to monitor and optimize operational data pipelines and how to: Make the strategic case for data observability Identify the chief business metrics of data observability Use automation to scale data identification, reliability, quality and management Instrument the enterprise data infrastructure for comprehensible observability Use intelligent observability to augment data pipeline professionals’ productivity

Join this session to explore: Understanding the data challenges for different business sectors Problem solving initiatives Shared data and digital solutions, drawing parallels and key learnings across industries
- Scaling Data Management as Your Organisation’s Data Maturity Increases(Plenary) Organisations are now collecting vast amounts of data, through a variety of systems. As they continue to utilise this data to drive their growth, and continue on their journey towards greater data maturity, the scale and complexity of the data they work with only increases. The number of systems, the amount of data points, and the number of teams accessing the data all continue to grow. Join this session to understand how you can maintain control of your data assets, and harness the power of your data, as you scale through: Automation and DataOps Cataloging data to increase discoverability Ensuring data quality exists at all stages of your data pipelines
