Francis Coady · Chief Marketing Officer, Havas Media Group Francis Coady has 20 years’ experience working across the music, film, partnership, content, media and marcoms industry. He was director of The Coady Group, an entertainment company, for fourteen years. The first major entertainment production for the company was the creation and execution of the world’s first touring TXT Messaging Champions, presented by Sony Ericsson and Telstra. The company went on to oversee the careers of iconic rock act Thirsty Merc for seven years, including signing them to Warner Music, selling in excess of two double platinum albums, performing to more than three quarters of a million people and being nominated for four ARIA awards. The Coady Group managed global children’s group Hi-5, signing them to Live Nation, Nickelodeon and Hoyts. Creating and executive producing the Bondi Short Film Festival for thirteen years, which included guest judges Director Bruce Beresford (Driving Miss Daisy, Mao’s Last Dancer) and actor Sam Worthington (Avatar). Five years ago, Francis Coady was asked to set up Havas Sports & Entertainment (a division of Havas Media Group) in Australia as General Manager. He accepted and built the division into a multimillion dollar billing operation, producing global award-winning campaign work in the sponsorship, CSR partnership, brand experience and content space, for the likes of Bupa, Gillette, Destination NSW, LG, NRMA, Virgin, and Red Bull. Some recent meaningful work highlights for Coady have included working closely with Sir Richard Branson on the launch of Virgin Active in Australia, working closely with NRMA on major environmental and endangered species partnerships, creating and executive producing the ground-breaking six part digital first series THE LONG ROAD, for Destination NSW, which included major Australian talent such as Amy Shark, Guy Sebastian and Ocean Alley. The series has gone onto secure more than 2.5 million views.
Sarah Roberts · Chief Marketing Officer, BAI Communications Marketing leader Sarah Roberts’ reputation for enriching brands and company value emanates from her demonstrated history of developing businesses through customer-focused marketing strategies that have delivered sustainable business growth. Sarah’s global marketing expertise has created result driven change within multiple organisations and successfully developed global brands. Sarah has worked across various industries; including telecommunications, technology, insurance, and financial services and is currently the Global Director of Marketing and Communication at BAI Communications. She leads a marketing function focussed on delivering measurable outcomes to cut through in the competitive international marketplace. Prior to BAI, Sarah was the global lead for brand, communications and content for SAI Global and Head of Brand and Marketing for Telco at Woolworths, launching its new Telco brand to market. She has also held roles as Associate Director of Brand Strategy and Activations for Optus Consumer and Brand and Strategy Manager for Optus Business. Sarah began her career in financial marketing in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Rachael Rollo · General Manager - Communications, Metro Trains Melbourne Metro Trains Melbourne’s Communications team delivers mission critical communications to its 6,500 colleagues and is responsible for internal and external messaging to drive employee engagement and protect and enhance reputation. The team is led by General Manager Rachael Rollo. Rachael has more than 20 years of experience in communications, having been the Director of Corporate Affairs at Major Road Projects Victoria – part of Victoria’s ‘Big Build’, after a successful career in top tier media companies, include Channels 7 and 9, 3AW and the Herald Sun.
