Wendy leads a global team across a broad remit encompassing marketing, PR, corporate communications, employee communications, MarTech, bid support, brand and also sustainability (ESG). Ben Mitchell · Chief marketing officer, K-TIG Ben is an experienced senior strategic marketing professional with over 20 years of experience in business-to-business sales and marketing. Skilled at leading business transition and diversification he is the Chief Marketing Officer at K-TIG. K-TIG is an Australian owned manufacturer of a patented, high quality, high productivity and repeatable welding technology known as Keyhole TIG that is disrupting the global welding market. Ben has previously held senior marketing roles with a number of Australian and international firms, including in the Australian operations of TSE listed Nitto Denko where his role as Director of Strategic Planning & Marketing encompassed overseeing the strategic direction of Nitto Denko’s diversification in the Australian market. In addition to working directly for the Global Innovation Marketing Center team to commercialize R&D projects for inbound and outbound marketing. Ben holds a Master of Business Administration (Marketing).Dean Gould · CMO, Southern Cross University Dean Gould is a marketing and media professional with three decades of experience across the diverse sectors of higher education, tourism and media. His role of Chief Marketing Officer at Southern Cross University includes responsibility for brand strategy, marketing, media, communications, student recruitment and outreach, design, digital, sponsorships, partnerships, alumni and philanthropy. He was previously Director of the Office of Marketing and Communications at Griffith University and Executive Director of Corporate Affairs and Strategy at Destination Gold Coast. For more than 20 years he was a journalist and editor, working internationally before serving as a News Corp editor until 2011. He has an MBA from Central Queensland University and a Bachelor of Arts form The University of Queensland. He is chair of the Gold Coast Music Advisory Group, life member and coach at Broadbeach United Soccer Club, former State Committee and Gold Coast chair of White Ribbon Australia and a Certified Practicing Marketer with the Australian Marketing Institute and a member of the PR and Communications Association of Asia Pacific.
