Grayson Bot · Operations Manager, Queensland Department of Education As Operations Manager for the Department of Education Queensland, Grayson leads a team of varied functions such as Knowledge Management, Training and Development, Resourcing, Incident Queue Management and an internal technical certification, The Orange Card Program. With 10+ years in the IT industry, Grayson cut his teeth in remote and desktop technical support roles before becoming a Team Leader within the IT Service Centre. Following this, he performed a variety of roles including IT Change Manager and Manager of Server Operations Centre and Development & Innovation teams. For a period of time, he also performed a Team Leader role for the Network Operations Centre and managed the organisation’s Identity and Access Management team. Over the years, Grayson has performed speaking roles across the state of Queensland, with the intent of fostering digital enablement for Teachers, Principals, and school technical staff. Through engaging and informative live sessions, the complexities of IT systems were relayed in easily understood and jargon-free terms. Armed with an appreciation for the importance of business planning and strategy - for several years Grayson was responsible for the coordination and governance of maintaining Business Continuity Plans for the IT Branch, Education Queensland. This required liaising with business leaders to maintain the currency of BCPs by recommending and implementing best practice procedures. In the event of a service disruption or unexpected natural disaster, businesses were practiced and prepared for the continuity of service delivery. Balancing full-time work and study, he is currently undertaking a Master of Business Administration with Charles Sturt University with the goal of completing in 2022.Michael Wilson · National BDM, Nestle Following a company restructure, Michael advanced to head the Business Development team with a focus on driving growth for the division. Michael leads a team on 6 senior BDM’s, 3 State BDM’s and a sales coordinator across key customer portfolio in the QSR, FSR, Airline, Hotel, Pub/Club, Mass Merchant, Contract Catering, Healthcare and e-commerce. Michael is responsible for customer led innovation, bespoke product development, P&L, trade spend, project management, CRM analytics, contract negotiation and promotional development and execution
Paul Ciappara · Director, Customer Insights & Product Strategy, Skedulo Paul focused on strategic user research initiatives working for Skedulo. Paul specialises in employing user-centred design methodologies to solve complex customer and business challenges. Paul have been involved in all phases of the Design and Innovation process including the planning and conducting of user research, one-on-one interviews, Persona development and contextual inquiries, right through to usability testing and product strategy. I work closely with Product Owners, Designers, Developers and Testers to deliver high-quality digital projects, working in traditional and agile teams with onshore and offshore resources. Paul has also been involved in the development of Digital Strategies for a number of iconic Australian brands and am passionate about helping organisations achieve growth and maximise operational efficiency through the use of digital technologies.
