Lending Leaders' Luncheon | Optimising borrower lifecycle
Optimising borrower lifecycle moments that matter in Australian lending value chains
The QT Sydney, Australia
Hosted by Factor
- 80 attendees
- 2 hours
Overview
Australian borrowers & the Fintech lending landscape are well served with digital enablement in the loan origination space for industry metrics like ´Time of Yes´ and ´Time to Cash´. However, in the constrained economy that we operate in today, there is a pending need for the creation of borrower lifecycle moments that matter especially regarding post-loan settlement. The opportunity to create such moments can be addressed with digital servicing, thus enabling product innovation, operational efficiency and a balanced approach to humanised loan lifecycle management. Digitalisation of post-settlement can include loan servicing, limits management & repayment schedule flexibility, interest-rate holiday scheduling, hardships & delinquency management, and restructuring to name a few: all done with the intention to help borrowers achieve ‘More with LESS ’ → L ending transformation E mpowerment through S peed and S implicity.
The creation of such services also calls for 'co-opetition' amongst Banks, Non-bank Lenders, Mutuals, FinTechs and Core system providers to elevate their concepts of lending value-chains beyond origination; and come together and digitally serve borrowers, as they go through different economic challenges in their life journey. However, much needs to be done as more often than not, borrowers are left under-served, post loan-settlement, because of the the constraints of legacy core systems and processes in financial institutions.
Please join us in this highly interactive roundtable, where best practices and use cases across many of the above topics will be discussed. The session will be facilitated by Factor, and supported by subject matter experts to ensure that you will each gain up-to-date knowledge and also share your own experiences digital servicing capabilities undertaken in international markets. Reflection on applicability for Australian lending ecosystem to consider for API integration & co-opetition between various market participants, will also be a key discussion point.
