- Data-Driven Innovation: How CDOs Can Orchestrate Ecosystems and Break Silos for Resiliency(CDO|CIO November 2023) In today's rapidly changing and interconnected world, organizations need to be able to innovate quickly and effectively in order to stay ahead of the competition. CDOs play a critical role in this process by orchestrating innovation ecosystems and breaking down silos across the organization. By leveraging data-driven insights, CDOs can help organizations identify new opportunities for innovation, develop and launch new products and services, and improve their overall performance. They can also help organizations break down silos between different departments and functions, which can lead to increased collaboration, improved decision-making, and greater resilience. In this talk, I will discuss the importance of data-driven innovation and how CDOs can play a leading role in this process. I will also share some specific examples of how organizations have used data to drive innovation and achieve their business goals. I believe that data-driven innovation is essential for organizations that want to succeed in the 21st century. By orchestrating innovation ecosystems and breaking down silos, CDOs can help their organizations become more innovative, agile, and resilient.
- Modern Data Architectures(CDO|CIO November 2023) The journey to the cloud, increasing data security, and removing silos are just some of the benefits of a modern data architecture. Data Fabrics are a mature architecture, perfect for preparing and managing data at scale. Data Lakehouses and Data Mesh have emerged recently as paradigms to solve complexity and cost, driving value and insight from your data. Making sense of the information is a challenge for organisations today. We invite you to join Cloudera APAC Field CTO, Daniel Hand as he demystifies the emerging data architectures of Data Lake House, Data Mesh and Data Fabric and explores important questions like how can you effectively implement modern data architectures? Do you need more than one? Which will make the biggest impact on your business?
- Closing the Data Value Gap Using A Democratisation Approach(CDO|CIO November 2023) Today, only 32% of the companies realise tangible business value from their data initiatives, and 60 - 73% of the data within enterprises still need to be explored. Could a decentralised data strategy based on real-time data integration be the next big thing to unleash the data innovation and productivity we badly need to close this data value gap? Join us as we explore the shifting role of the data and how you should be preparing for this paradigm shift to democratise real-time data to deliver highly actionable insights and recommendations to the business: Data Mesh vs Data Fabric: Which Approach Should You Be Taking Develop A Data Integration Strategy That Drives Business Value Unlock Hidden Value In Data With Qlik Cloud Data Integration and Analytics
