Across his engagements, Shane helps leaders organise change enabled by technology to build resilient market advantage.

Shane is the Founder and Chief Analyst of Integral Advice in Melbourne. He supports technology executives with strategic decisions across the technology stack, including the cost intelligence that finance requires.  

Previously, Shane was Principal Analyst at ADAPT. There he managed the overall technology research agenda, matured the survey function, owned custom research, established sustainability coverage, and led research into modernisation, data and AI.  

Before that, he was Research Director at QA Media in London. There he led the research function and helped financial market infrastructure firms with the software risk management implications of emerging and maturing technologies. Previously, he was a Senior Analyst at Gartner in London. At Gartner, he covered the commercial and operational implications of intelligent automation for managed services providers.  

Earlier in his career, Shane spent around a decade in technology delivery across the UK and Australia. His tech delivery experience included roles at Centrelink, LPA Legal, Telstra and Colliers International.
